Matera inspires desert kids
It had been 10 years since retired West Coast Eagles champion Peter Matera visited Jigalong, an indigenous community on the western edge of the Gibson Desert.
The Jigalong community has changed a fair bit since I was last there, but what hasnt changed is the kids passion for football and fun, he said.
